Portable charger with interchangeable battery adapters

The Mathorn MBC-DX240 is a charging kit based on the MBC-DX84 dual-channel charger with an interchangeable adapter system. This version includes two adapters designed for OM SYSTEM BLX-1 batteries and allows one or two batteries to be charged independently. The interchangeable design allows the charger to be used with other battery types by replacing the adapters.

A clear segmented LED indicator shows the charging progress separately for CH1 and CH2, while additional LEDs confirm that each battery has been inserted correctly and that the corresponding channel is ready for charging. The charger can be powered via USB-C or Micro-USB, making it easy to connect to a suitable USB power source at home, in the studio or while travelling.

Charging One or Two Batteries

The MBC-DX84 features two independent charging channels. You can use just one channel or charge two batteries simultaneously. When charging a single battery in CH1, the charging current is up to 800mA. When both channels are used simultaneously, each battery is charged at up to 700mA. The maximum power consumption of the charger is 15W.

Interchangeable Adapters

One of the key features of the MBC-DX84 is its interchangeable battery adapter system. This set includes two adapters compatible with OM SYSTEM BLX-1 batteries.

LED Indicator and Charging Status

The segmented LED indicator allows you to quickly check the status of both batteries being charged. Each channel has its own battery level indicator, showing the charging progress from 0 to 100%. Each channel also features a separate LED that confirms the battery has been inserted correctly and is ready for charging. This makes it easy to check the status of both batteries without removing them from the charger.

Two USB Power Inputs

The charger can be powered via either the USB-C or Micro-USB port. This allows it to be used with a variety of USB power sources that meet the charger's requirements. To achieve full charging performance, a power source capable of supplying 5V⎓3A is required. The two available input ports make the charger more convenient to use at home, in the studio and while travelling.

Safe and Convenient Charging

The MBC-DX84 features protection against overvoltage, overheating, overload and overcurrent. The charging system monitors the operating parameters of the device, helping to protect both the charger and the batteries installed in it.
