The Lanterna's spherical design ensures even light diffusion over a large area, making it an excellent source of fill light.
Light control
The primary function of a Lantern-style softbox is to diffuse light from the lamp in all directions. However, this isn’t always the most practical option on set. When working in a photography or film studio, it’s essential to be able to control where the light falls. That’s why the GlareOne Lantern is equipped with a skirt consisting of four panels.
The screen allows you to block off specific areas of the set where light from the softbox should not fall.
Easy to use
Built on a sturdy frame, the Lantern can be quickly folded and unfolded, which makes working on set much easier. The apron attaches with Velcro, making it intuitive and quick to use. The included carrying case ensures convenient transport and storage.
High-quality materials
The inside of the softbox is lined with a silver light-reflecting screen, while its outer surface is black (matte). The diffuser, which is responsible for scattering the light, is made of lightweight, rip-stop nylon that is resistant to mechanical damage. All materials are selected to maintain color neutrality, ensuring that the softbox does not negatively affect the quality of light from the lamp. The mounting ring is made of anodized aluminum, while the frame rods are steel.
