GlareOne LED 160 BiColor D II

GlareOne LED 160 BiColor D II is a 160 W light offering an adjustable color temperature range of 2700–6500 K and the option to power it either from the mains or from V-mount batteries using the optional GlareOne LEDAV adapter. The light delivers excellent color accuracy (TLCI > 98), high efficiency and brightness, and supports the use of various light modifiers.

New Generation of the LED Line

The GlareOne LED 160 BiColor D II is the second generation of the LED 160 model, featuring numerous design improvements over its predecessor. Thanks to the use of the latest COB LED modules, we have achieved even better light quality and higher efficiency — all while maintaining the same power output. The size of the head itself has been reduced by nearly half through a modular design and the use of new, more efficient heat sinks and fans. This reduction in size also resulted in a significant weight decrease, making the light easier to transport to set and more convenient to handle during photo or video shoots.

Color First

The TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of this model exceeds 98, the CRI is over 97, and the TM-30 index is above 96 — regardless of the selected color temperature. Thanks to these outstanding values, the light performs perfectly on set, both for video and photography, ensuring faithful color reproduction.

Flexibility

The GlareOne LED 160 BiColor D II is equipped with a COB LED system that produces light with a color temperature ranging from 2700 K to 6500 K. This provides great flexibility when working with various ambient lighting conditions, whether natural or artificial.

Stability

The LED 160 BiColor D II is ideal for high-speed shooting, performing flawlessly even at frame rates up to 1000 fps, eliminating any flickering effect.

Power

The GlareOne LED 160 BiColor D II delivers high efficiency and impressive light output. It is capable of producing an illuminance of over 66,200 lux, allowing for easy light shaping and reflection to achieve the desired effects on set.

Quiet Operation

The light features a cooling system consisting of a heat sink and a fan that operates quietly, with a noise level not exceeding 30 dB. Such low noise makes it easier to record sound on set. When total silence is required, the fan can be turned off using the control panel button, switching the lamp to passive cooling mode (with reduced maximum output).

Lighting Effects

The light includes nine built-in lighting effects that simulate various sources such as a broken fluorescent tube, fireworks, lightning (in three variations), flash bursts (in three variations), and a television screen.

Bluetooth and GlareOne Studio

The light features built-in Bluetooth and can be controlled wirelessly via the GlareOne Studio app, available for both Android and iOS devices.

Optional Power Supply

The GlareOne LED 160 BiColor D II offers two power options — from a standard AC outlet using the included power cable, or from V-mount batteries with the GlareOne LEDAV adapter (sold separately). A single 14.8 V, 220 Wh V-mount battery allows the light to operate at full power for up to 100 minutes, although actual runtime may vary depending on the quality of the battery used.

Versatility

With a Bowens-type mount, the LED 160 BiColor D II is compatible with almost all light modifiers available on the market — both GlareOne and third-party accessories. The lamp can be used with a wide range of tools, including softboxes, snoots, barndoors, reflectors, Fresnel lenses, and more.
