This ensures high compatibility with most USB-C powered devices – from smartphones and laptops to cameras and monitor screens. Depending on its use, the same controller also manages the operation of the V-mount battery with D-TAP, protecting it from overcharging or excessive discharge. A LED indicator provides feedback on the device's operating status, battery charge level, and the connection to a USB power source.

The adapter housing is made from a CNC-machined aluminium block and powder-coated, ensuring good protection against scratches. Additionally, it features an eyelet with a ¼”-20 threaded screw, allowing for easy mounting to a camera cage, if needed. The D-TAP cable length is 16 cm.
