GlareOne Boom Stand with Coaxial Geared Control
Heavy, two-section boom stand with a maximum height of 440 cm with a movable spigot.
Movable spigot
The stand is equipped with a movable spigot. Thanks to the knob at the end of the Boom arm, we can conveniently operate the light placed at the other end of the arm: tilt it, straighten it or point it upwards.
Versatility
The Boom stand can be used as a stand in a photo studio and on film sets. The maximum load capacity of up to 8 kg will easily support a light with a hexagonal softbox with a diameter of up to 120 cm connected. The spigot on the arm is detachable, reversible and has two mounting points (1/4 and 3/8 inch), which means that the stand can also be used for a microphone placed above the set.
Durability
The stand is almost entirely made of metal elements, which makes its durability extremely high. The only non-metal parts are the handles of the screws that lock the position of the sections and the feet of the legs themselves. All other fragments - key to the strength of the structure - are made of aluminum.
Details
The knobs are ergonomically shaped and large enough to provide a firm grip and prevent pinched fingers when adjusting the height. The central column breaking mechanism is 100% metal and equipped with a very large, position-adjustable handle. The legs are long, thanks to which they provide a wide stance and, as a result, great stability.

* The maximum load capacity of the tripod is given for the minimum extension of the boom arm and it depends on many variable settings. A tripod in a configuration with the boom arm extended to its maximum extent will have a much lower load-bearing capacity, which is influenced by, among others, the use of a counterweight, the position of the center of gravity of the attached lamp or accessory, etc. It is not possible to reliably indicate the maximum lifting capacity of the arm. The parameters given in the table above are indicative and the actual dimensions of the product may differ slightly. |
