GlareOne Botis 80 S

Botis 80 S is a professional-grade, high-performance flash equipped with a round head and large flashtube for intense and even lighting. Its touchscreen-based user interface, long-lasting battery, and integrated wireless control make it an ideal on-camera and off-camera flash for studio and location shooting.

Power and performance

The Botis 80 S offers a maximum flash power of 80 Ws, providing a strong and effective light source for various photographic applications. It is highly efficient and can handle even very intense use during dynamic wedding or extreme sports photography. The recharge time at maximum power is only 1.3 seconds, enabling quick and efficient preparation for the next shots without long interruptions.

Light quality

The flash's design, featuring a large flashtube similar to those found in studio lights, ensures that the light it emits is evenly distributed and works perfectly with accessories such as softboxes or umbrellas. The Botis 80 S flashes with daylight color temperature, ensuring accurate color reproduction.

Flash duration

The Botis 80 S features a Freeze mode, with a flash duration ranging from 1/2430 to 1/70000 seconds (t0.5). This ensures that photos taken with full power will be sharp, and any captured movement will be frozen.

Compatibility 

The GlareOne Botis 80 S is only compatible with Sony via the Sony Multi Interface shoe. 

Operating modes and remote control 

The GlareOne Botis 80 S offers MASTER and SLAVE modes. In MASTER mode, it can act as a remote controller for other flashes. In SLAVE mode, it can be triggered by other devices (flashes or transmitters), providing full flexibility in creating lighting setups on the photo set. Additionally, its compatibility with the Canon RT system offers further synchronization and control options for Canon flashes.

Trigger compatibility

The GlareOne Botis 80 S works with all GlareOne triggers, allowing easy integration with other flash units from GlareOne brand, ensuring convenience and flexibility in work.

Advanced channel and group settings

The GlareOne Botis 80 S allows operation in 16 groups and on 32 channels, offering a wide range of configuration and control options over multiple flashes in various conditions. 

TTL and HSS 

The flash offers synchronization with all shutter speeds (HSS), which is important for outdoor work and portrait photography with shallow depth of field. Additionally, the automatic TTL light measurement provides optimal lighting without the need for manual parameter adjustment, which is convenient and saves time.

Battery life 

Thanks to the use of a lithium-ion battery, the GlareOne Botis 80 S can perform up to 500 flashes on a single charge, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation even during intense photo sessions.

Flash power adjustment

The flash offers the ability to adjust the flash power over 9 aperture stops, allowing precise flash power control.
