GlareOne LED 300 BiColor D
The 300 Watt LED studio continuous light lamp is distinguished by its variable color temperature in the range of 2700~6500K and its ability to be powered by mains or V-mount batteries, via an additional GlareOne LEDAV adapter. LED 300 BiColor D features very good color reproduction (TLCI >98), high efficiency and brightness, and built-in Bowens-type light modifier mount.
Color first
The TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) for this model is >98, and the CRI is >97 regardless of the current color temperature setting. This makes the lamp great for illuminating a set during both filming and photography, allowing for correct color reproduction.Â
Flexibility
The GlareOne LED 300 BiColor D is equipped with a COB LED chip, which is capable of producing light with a color temperature ranging from 2700 K all the way up to 6500 K. This gives great flexibility in working with foundational light of various origins - natural or artificial.
Stability
LED 300 BiColor D can be successfully used to illuminate a shooting set with a maximum frame rate of up to 1,000 frames per second, without flickering (flickering).Â
Power
GlareOne LED 300 BiColor D is characterized by high efficiency and high power of generated light. The lamp is capable of providing a light output of up to >170000 lux, which translates into the ability to easily modify and bounce the light to achieve the desired effects on set.
Quiet operation
The lamp is equipped with a cooling system that consists of a heat sink and an extremely quiet fan, not exceeding 30 dB. This low noise level makes sound recording on set much easier.
In situations where absolute silence is required, the fan can be turned off using a key on the lamp's control panel to use it only in passive cooling mode (at reduced maximum power).Â
Lighting effects
The lamp is equipped with 9 lighting effects that allow you to simulate the light coming from a broken fluorescent lamp, fireworks, lightning (in three variants), flashbulbs (in three variants) and a TV.Â
Remote control
There is a built-in radio receiver compatible with the GlareOne LED RC or GlareOne LED RC II remote control. In addition, the lamp can be controlled wirelessly using the GlareOne Studio app.Â
Battery power supply
The GlareOne LED 300 BiColor D can be powered from two sources - from an AC outlet using a power cord (included) or using V-mount batteries, using the GlareOne LEDAV adapter (available separately). One V-mount (14.8V) battery with a capacity of 190 Wh will power the lamp shining at full power for up to 30 minutes (the time depends largely on the quality of the battery used).
NOTE: To achieve the full power of the lamp, use batteries with a total output of 360 watts. Batteries with less power, such as 2x99 watts, will work, but will reach a maximum of 198 watts ~ 70% of the lamp power. We do not recommend using rechargeable batteries without a high current lock, as damage to the battery may occur.
Versatility
Thanks to its Bowens-type accessory mount, the LED 300 BiColor D lamp can work with almost any light modifier available on the market, manufactured by GlareOne or by one of many other brands. The lamp can be used with a variety of softboxes, fluxes, gates or reflectors.
Durability
The decisive components for long life and high comfort, namely the tripod mount, frame and housing, are either aluminum or steel. Other parts, such as the handle and control knobs, are made of high-quality plastic, which ensures good ergonomics and comfortable operation.Â
DMX control
The lamp is compatible with the DMX (Digital MultipleX) protocol, thanks to which you can freely control its light and program it accordingly using a computer or appropriate controllers. Thanks to this, it can also successfully serve as stage lighting.
