Enter a new world of unlimited possibilities with the Elinchrom Transmitter Pro
Imagine having all the features you could possibly need in a single transmitter.
Transmitter Pro gives you access to automatic TTL (Through the Lens) light metering, which you can use with Elinchrom lights [1], making your work with lighting much easier. HSS (High Speed Sync) and Hi-Sync are fully automatic and allow for seamless operation even with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s. With the Transmitter Pro, youâll be able to freeze dynamic motion, dim ambient light or eliminate it entirely, and use a very shallow depth of field whenever you want. The Elinchrom Pro Transmitter is more than just a flash triggerâitâs the key to a whole new world.
Pick up the pace
Quick setup and real-time display of flash settings on the transmitter screen, along with a 200-meter range, give you full control over your lighting. With Transmitter Pro, youâll never miss a decisive moment.
Stay up to date
Synchronize any compatible Elinchrom flash with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s. Manage multiple flashes individually or assign them to groups to add more light or create dynamic lighting on the set. Use TTL auto mode to achieve perfect exposure in any conditions and achieve excellent results.
Do exactly what you want
Use a wide-open aperture, capture the decisive moment, darken the background, or dim ambient light by remotely controlling and triggering your Elinchrom strobes. The Transmitter Pro opens the door to new possibilities.
Explore and Take Action
The Elinchrom Transmitter Pro is powered by two standard AA batteries, so you can swap them out anywhere and shoot wherever you want, for as long as you want.
Keep everything under control
The large LCD display and easy-to-use navigation menu make this an intuitive and user-friendly transmitter that simplifies and speeds up work with the lights.
Product Features:
- Automatic TTL Flash Power Selection
Transmitter Pro allows you to use TTL flash automation, providing a quick switch to manual (M) mode without losing the light metering results.
- Manual power control
The transmitter allows you to adjust the flash power in manual mode, giving you precise control over the strobes you're using.Â
- Large LCD screen
The display is large and easy to read even in conditions of strong ambient light (bright sunlight) or low light (backlight). This makes working with multiple lamps at the same time both faster and more efficient.
- LCD backlight in various colors
Depending on the transmitter's operating mode, its LCD screen is backlit in two colors: green for Normal mode and red for Speed Sync mode.
- Workplace Ergonomics
Transmitter Pro is equipped with a set of function keys that provide quick access to the most important settings, which you can easily adjust using the control dial.
- Footrest with a lock
The transmitter's base is surrounded by a rubber gasket and features a quick-release lock that makes it easier to mount on the camera.
- Powered by AA batteries
The transmitter is powered by standard AA batteries and is capable of operating reliably with both alkaline and rechargeable versions.
- Wired Synchronization
Thanks to the 2.5mm jack sync socket, the transmitter can be used to trigger flash units via a cable.
- Firmware Update
The Mini-USB port allows you to update the system software (firmware).
- Radio Communication Channels
There are 20 communication channels available for each of the transmitter's operating modes (20 in Normal mode and 20 in Speed Sync mode)
- Groups
The transmitter can control 4 groups of lights (A, B, C, D) individually on each communication channel, or all of them simultaneously (ALL)
- Flash Synchronization Modes
The transmitter has three flash synchronization modes:
- Automatic Hi-Sync / HSS up to 1/8000 s
- second-curtain sync [2]
- ODS (Over-Drive-Sync), which allows for flash delay (from 0.1 to 5.0 ms)
- Triggering the pilot flash[3]
Activating the pilot flash helps with autofocus. There are two ways this works:
- Shutter - pressing the shutter button triggers the flash
- DOF - Pressing the depth-of-field preview button triggers the flash
- Autofocus assistance [4]
Transmitter Pro is equipped with an autofocus assist system that makes it easier to work, especially in low light.
- Remote Control of Lamp PowerÂ
The transmitter allows you to remotely adjust the flash output of compatible Elinchrom strobes, as well as turn the modeling lights on and off for strobes assigned to groups.
- Sleep and Auto-Off Features
In the settings menu, there is an option to set the idle time after which the transmitter will enter sleep mode or automatically turn off to conserve battery power.
Restoring Factory Settings
In a pinch, you can easily restore the factory settings, which is useful when experimenting or when the transmitter is used by multiple people.Â
