By using Action Mode, which provides a very short flash duration, you can freeze even the most dynamic motion in your shot and achieve perfect sharpness. You can also use HSS flash sync mode, which lets you easily darken the background and achieve dramatic lighting in the foreground. The Elinchrom ELC is a flash designed for long-term, intensive use. Its advanced cooling system allows it to reach full power in 1.1 seconds, with no limits on the number of flashes or operating time.

• 20 W LED Pilot Light

The LED guide light module emits light with a color temperature of 5,700 Kelvin (CRI up to 92, 3,000 lumens).

• Flash sync up to 1/8000 s (HSS)

Synchronization with any shutter speed offers more creative possibilities, allowing you to shoot with wide-open apertures and control ambient light in any conditions.

• Automatic TTL Flash Power Selection

The Elinchrom ELC allows you to use TTL flash automation and quickly switch to manual (M) mode without losing the light metering results.

• Pro-Active Cooling Smart Cooling System

The lamp “learns” your work style—its intensity and pace—and, based on this information, adjusts the cooling system to ensure maximum efficiency and charging speed.

• Wide range of flash power adjustment

ELC allows you to adjust the flash output within a range of 5 or 7 f-stops for the 125 and 500 Ws models, respectively, making it simple and intuitive to achieve a shallow depth of field in the studio.

• Action Mode

In action mode, the flash duration is very short, which in turn allows you to freeze fast-moving objects in the frame.

• Color-coded group indicator on the housing

Each group of lamps has its own unique color, which is displayed on the housing. This makes working with multiple lamps at the same time faster and more efficient.
