The Rotalux softbox is quick and easy to set up, lightweight, and folds into a bag just as easily as an umbrella. Thanks to its exceptional build quality, removable inner and outer diffusers, and optional deflectors and 30° Rotagrids, this softbox will quickly become your go-to light modifier, whether you’re in the studio or on location.

The EL26650 Rotalux Deep Octa Softbox 70 cm creates soft light when used with the front diffuser and more defined light without it. Without any diffuser, it functions as a beauty dish, producing noticeably sharper shadows.

Available speed rings 

Rotalux speedrings are designed to withstand heavy use and high stress, even during the daily assembly and disassembly of the largest softboxes. Each Rotalux requires a speedring to mount the softbox on the light. The speedring is not included and must be purchased separately.

• Rotalux Speedring for Elinchrom
  EL26570 - The Rotalux Speedring for Elinchrom is required for all Rotalux shapes and sizes. It is compatible with all Elinchrom lights manufactured since 1974.
• Rotalux Speedring for Profoto
  EL26574 - The Rotalux Speedring for Profoto is required for all Rotalux shapes and sizes. It is compatible with most Profoto strobes.
• Rotalux Speedring for Broncolor
  EL26573 - The Rotalux Speedring for Broncolor is required for all Rotalux shapes and sizes. It is compatible with most Broncolor Pulso-type strobes.
• Rotalux Speedring for S-mount/Bowens
  EL26571 - Compatible with most Bowens, GlareOne, Godox, Nanlite, and Aputure lights.
• Rotalux Speedring for Alienbee/Balcar
  EL26545 - Compatible with most Balcar-type lights, such as AlienBee, DigiBee, Einstein, and LINK.
• Rotalux Speedring for Hensel EH
  EL26544 - The Rotalux Speedring for Hensel EH is required for all Rotalux shapes and sizes. It is compatible with most Hensel lights.
• Rotalux Speedring for Comet
  EL26535 - The Rotalux Speedring for Comet is required for all Rotalux shapes and sizes. It is compatible with most Comet lights.
• Rotalux Speedring for Photona
  EL26536 - The Photona Speedring is required for all Rotalux shapes and sizes. It is compatible with most Photona lights.
• Rotalux Indirect Speedring
  EL26329 - The Rotalux Indirect Speedring allows you to position an Elinchrom flash toward the interior of the softbox, thereby creating reflected (indirect) light instead of the standard direct light.
