Beauty Dish
This type of canopy is one of the basic tools in the work of photographers dealing with portraits and fashion. Its characteristic feature is a reflector placed inside, which prevents the light from falling directly on the illuminated object and directs it to the white reflector. Beauty Dish illuminates a large area, but at the same time allows good control over the spread of light on the set, especially when equipped with an additional honeycomb.
Light
With a white interior finish, the canopy provides light that is focused and slightly diffused. The characteristic feature of the Softlight canopy is that the shadows that are created when lighting the set with it are outlined and clearly visible, but at the same time filled with light so they don't become tarry black spots.
Bayonet
The canopy in its basic configuration is equipped with a Bownes type mount, which we use in GlareOne lamps as well as many other producers of lighting for film and photography. However, the Beauty Dish 50 Softlight has an interchangeable bayonet so it can be used with Profoto, Elinchrom or Broncolor lights.
